The first two or three Wimsey books are a little bit rough, but oh do they hit their stride. Human nature, and the nature of the advertising business, is apparently timeless. I was surprised how contemporary the drug problem felt as well. A solid Wimsey entry with him going undercover, finishing with a bit of cricket that I didn't quite understand but followed well enough.
